This research area investigates urban technologies broadly conceived, and uses tools from philosophy, design, art, and critical urbanism to envision them. At the CPT, we’re interested in the various histories, geographies, and scales of the “urban technical,” and interrogate what it means to pose it as a philosophical problem in the 21st century.
